This empirical research uses a quantitative (‘AVEM’, a questionnaire on work-related behaviour and experience patterns) and qualitative survey (semi-structured interviews) to collect stress factors and coping skills of teachers in vocational integration classes (classes for immigrants, mainly refugees, with a need of German language support). Based on this data, comparative case analyses are used to investigate why individuals with the same or similar work requirements differ in their work-related stress perception.
