Abstract:
To comprehensively cope with complex product architectures, the dissertation provides the evaluation of existing methods and approaches incorporated into a threefold methodology, based on the Multiple Domain Matrix modeling method. The three pillars of the approach include a framework regarding the content, a model capable of providing complex system information, and a procedural model for the systematic coping with complex systems.

Zum Umgang mit komplexen Produktarchitekturen werden in der Dissertation etablierte Methoden und Vorgehensweisen zu einer umfassenden Methodik zusammengefasst, basierend auf der Modellierungsmethode der „Multiple Domain Matrix“. Die drei wesentlichen Bestandteile stellen dabei ein Rahmenwerk zur Dokumentation des Inhalts von Produktarchitekturen, ein Modell zur Bereitstellung der Information komplexer Systeme, sowie ein Vorgehensmodell zur systematischen Anwendung der Methodik dar.
