Randall-Sundrum (RS) models and Supersymmetric flavor models provide two appealing solutions to the hierarchy problems of the Standard Model. We introduce the basics of the two frameworks, focusing particularly on the flavor sector. We investigate the possibility to suppress flavor changing neutral current effects thanks to the warped geometry and the custodial protection in the RS model, and to flavor symmetries in Supersymmetry. Having fixed the energy scale of the two frameworks to the TeV range, we study the K and B meson observables (meson mixings and rare decays). We find characteristic patterns of predictions that can allow us to discriminate between the two frameworks, once new data will be available. A particular relevance is attributed to the CP violating asymmetry in the B_s meson mixing system and to the rare decay B_s -> mu+ mu-.
