On the one hand, the dissertation develops general, theory-based recommendations (based on the educational theory of interest) for the (further) development of interdisciplinary study programs. On the other hand, the thesis shows concrete starting points for the further development of the study course Ergonomics - Human Factors Engineering at the TUM. Furthermore, based on the analyses and investigations of the dissertation, an assessment of the role, possibilities and limits of the QM-system in the development of the study program is made. The work is theoretically located in activities for the development and support of interest in teaching-learning environments as well as research on the development of the study program and university research.
