Multiple sclerosis is a chronical and progressive disease, which mainly affects young adults. It is still not curable. A demand of qualitative, target-orientated intervention programs exists in rehabilitation for persons with multiple sclerosis. In contrast to traditional therapy, sport climbing therapy is intrinsically higly motivating and allows targeting various symptoms of persons with multiple sclerosis individually. This study aims to develop an application-oriented sport climbing program and analyzes empirically, if this program changes physical an psycho-social functioning in persons concerned.
