The dissertation aims at working out a comprehensive model for the configuration of quality measurement systems for business processes and deriving recommendations for specific business process types. After an introduction the author describes the conceptional framework. Furthermore, the author identifies the relevant influencing variables in terms of the configuration of process-related quality measurement systems, and derives business process types. Subsequently, the author works out the design elements of quality measurement systems and analyses for each design element what kind of characteristics are existent. Based on the preceding findings, the author derives recommendations for the configuration of quality measurement systems for the underlying business process types. The dissertation finishes with a summary and an outlook.
