An overexpression of the glycoprotein MUC1 was described in carcinomal cells of the bladder. In this study, the carcinomal cell lines EJ28, T24, 647V, J82, RT112, RT4, MBT2 of the bladder were tested for expression of MUC1 with the antibody C595. The marker studies with 111In- 125I-, and 213Bi labelled with C595, and also the results of the analysis of clone genes assays and Western Blot analysis have demonstrated the presence of MUC1 mucins. Because of the relatively weak linkage exhibited by C595, the linkage of Anti-EGF-MAk was also tested. The promising results obtained here argue for experimental studies of loco-regional radio-immunotherapy.
