Diese Arbeit untersucht Quanten Hall (QH) Randkanäle in GaAs/AlGaAs Quantentöpfen mit einem atomar scharfen 90°-Knick. Diese Kante dient als gemeinsame Begrenzung für zwei senkrechte zweidimensionale (2D) Elektronensysteme. Wird ein gekipptes Magnetfeld so angelegt, dass beide 2D Systeme in einem QH Zustand sind, koppeln die Randkanäle beider QH Systeme entlang der Kante und bilden zusammen mit einem eindimensionalen (1D) Akkumulationsdraht ein Hybridsystem. Leitfähigkeitsmessungen an diesem neuartigen 1D System zeigen isolierende und metallische 1D Zustände. Verengt man die Kante auf einige Mikrometer, wird Transportspektroskopie zwischen schwach gekoppelten QH Rändern ermöglicht. Die gemessene Zustandsdichte fraktionaler QH Randkanäle zeigt ein Potenzgesetz mit unerwarteter Magnetfeldabhängigkeit des Exponenten. Spektroskopie an einem einzelnen QH Rand weist möglicherweise auf impulserhaltenden Ladungstransport hin.
