Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: We previously demonstrated that when the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) is transiently blocked by an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) in young spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR), this results in a prolonged blood pressure decrease and protection against target organ damage.
