Abstract:
Copy protection for Android apps exists since the early days, but even today the existing solutions like Google's License Verification Library or Amazon's DRM solutions are proven to be insecure according to our recent analyses. In this paper we suggest to use secure elements to improve the overall security and to separate confidential data from the insecurity of the Android OS. The content is taken from our ongoing research.
