Die Studie vergleicht die Untersuchungsergebnisse der Minisondenendosonographie mit der konventionellen Endosonographie im Karzinomstaging des Ösophagus- und Magenkarzinoms und in der Diagnostik submuköser Tumoren. Hierbei zeigt sich eine hohe Übereinstimmung (Ösophaguskarzinom: 89%, Magenkarzinom: 59%, SMT-Tumorart: 82%); somit kann gesagt werden, dass die Minisondenendosonographie die konventionelle Endosonographie bei ösophagogastralen und submukösen Tumoren ersetzen kann.

This study compares the results of miniprobe sonography versus conventional endoscopic ultrasound both in the staging of oesophageal and gastric carcinomas and in diagnosing submucosal tumors. The conclusion shows a high congruence of the results (oesophageal carcinoma 89%, gastric carcinome 59%, submucosal tumors: 82%). It can therefore be said that conventional endoscopic ultrasound can be replaced by miniprobe sonography in the staging of oesophageal, gastric and submucosal tumors.
