- Abstract:
- Die Arbeit untersucht die Rolle des Zweifels in verschiedenen Metatheorien der Medizin. Exemplarisch werden hierfür die Medizin der empirischen Ärzteschule der Antike, die Wissenschaftstheorie Bernards und die evidenzbasierte Medizin analysiert. Die Betrachtung des Zweifels in den empirisch orientierten Konzepten und dem konzeptuellen Ansatz Bernards fördert die Einsicht zutage, dass die EBM als derzeit vorherrschende Metatheorie der Medizin eine unvollständige Epistemologie ist.
- Translated abstract:
- The doctoral thesis examines the role of doubt in different metatheories of medicine. For this purpose medicine in the empirical medical school of antiquity, in Bernard's philosophy of science and evidence-based medicine are analyzed exemplarily. The examination of doubt in empirically oriented concepts and the conceptual approach of Bernard reveals that EBM, the currently predominant metatheory of medicine, is an incomplete epistemology.
