Die Konstruktion und Entwicklung von Drohnen und deren Flugregler erfordert geeignete Modelle. Diese Arbeit zeigt die Aspekte von Modellbildung, Simulation und Validierung eines Flugphysikmodells, bis hin zum Flugtest eines AFCS. Ein aeromechanischer Code wird für ein autonomen Drehflügler mit Flettner-Doppelrotor entwickelt. Die modulare Software simuliert die Rotordynamik und Aerodynamik für interagierende Rotoren, sowie Rumpfwiderstand und Atmosphäre. Es wird ein validiertes Modell des Systems entwickelt, um einen Flugregler basierend auf NDI und PCH zu implementieren. Messungen im offenen und geschlossenen Regelkreis zeigen die Anwendbarkeit des Modells und des Reglers im Flugversuch.
