In recent years, many vehicle manufacturers have launched their first electric vehicles (BEV) on the market. Especially with regard to battery storage, different concepts have been implemented in these vehicles that vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These variations affect even the smallest element, the battery cell. A method developed in this thesis is intended to support the selection of the optimal cell, taking several aspects into account. In closing, the methodology is proven on three test vehicles.
