- Abstract:
- Double-beta decays are powerful probes for new physics beyond the Standard Model (SM). In this work, the emission of light exotic fermions in double-beta decay is investigated, and the sensitivity of current and future experiments is estimated. A precision determination of the 76Ge two-neutrino double-beta decay half-life is obtained with GERDA Phase II data, and searches for several exotic double-beta decay modes are performed.

- Doppel-Beta-Zerfälle sind leistungsstarke Sonden für neue Physik jenseits des Standardmodells (SM). In dieser Arbeit wird die Emission leichter exotischer Fermionen im Doppelbetazerfall untersucht und die Empfindlichkeit aktueller und zukünftiger Experimente abgeschätzt. Eine Präzisionsbestimmung der Halbwertszeit des 76Ge-Zwei-Neutrinodoppelbetazerfalls wird mit GERDA-Phase-II-Daten durchgeführt, und es wird nach verschiedenen exotischen Doppelbetazerfallsarten gesucht.
