Abstract:
In this thesis, a measurement of the combined WW and WZ production cross section at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV is presented. The measurement is performed in the boosted regime with one W boson decaying via the electron or muon channel and the remaining W or Z boson decaying to hadrons. The presence of the WW+WZ signal is established with an observed significance of 1.4 standard deviations. Limits on anomalous triple gauge coupling parameters are set by comparison of observed data with Monte Carlo simulation.
