- Ziel dieser Arbeit war, durch die Etablierung und Überprüfung molekularer Marker neue Strategien aufzuzeigen, um Patienten mit Kolonkarzinom des Stadiums UICC III künftig eine optimale Therapie zu ermöglichen. Es wurde hier in Form einer retrospektiven Analyse an einem spezifischen Patientenkollektiv (UICC III, n=84) der Mutationsstatus der Onkogene KRAS und BRAF, des Weiteren die relativen Expressionswerte der Gene OPN, MACC1 und SASH1, sowie die Instabilität von DNA-Mikrosatelliten erhoben.

- This thesis focuses on molecular genetic pathways that are putatively relevant for the development of distant metastases in locally advanced colorectal cancer. The mutation status of the oncogenes KRAS and BRAF, the relative expression values of the genes OPN, MACC1 and SASH1, as well as the instability of DNA- microsatellites, was collected here in the form of a retrospective analysis on a specific patient collective (UICC III, n=84).
