- Abstract:
- In dieser prospektiven Beobachtungsstudie wurden Patienten vor sowie vier bis zwölf Monate nach Erstkraniotomie zu Kopfschmerzen und depressiver Symptomatik befragt. Etwa ein Drittel der Studienteilnehmer gab postoperativ vermehrt Cephalgien an. Es zeigte sich ein Zusammenhang von Post-Kraniotomie-Kopfschmerz mit dem Alter, der Änderung des psychischen Befindens sowie dem Bestehen präoperativer Kopfschmerzen.

- This observational study describes the occurrence and the phenotype of chronical headache and depressive symptoms after primary cranial surgery. Symptoms of cephalgia worsened in approximately one-third of patients. A correlation between the patients age, change in depressive symptoms and presence of preoperative headache was shown.
