Abstract:
This work is focused on the development of reconstruction algorithms for different X-ray imaging modalities to improve image quality. To enhance propagation-based phase-contrast imaging at laboratory setups, reconstruction algorithms are developed that accurately model various effects of the image formation. For conventional computed tomography, different approaches are investigated to correct for the impulse response or the geometry of the system during tomographic reconstruction.
