- Das Selbstbild und das Sexualleben 45-jähriger Männer in Deutschland wurde als Begleitprojekt zur PROBASE-Studie untersucht. Dabei zeigte sich, dass die befragten Männer tendenziell ein positives Körperbild hatten. Sie gaben ein modernes Verständnis der Männerrolle und ein großes sexuelles Selbstwertgefühl an. Eine erektile Dysfunktion (ED) lag bei 16,2% der sexuell aktiven Männer vor. Sozialen Druck nahmen Männer mit ED erheblich stärker war als Männer ohne ED.

- The self-concept and the sexual life in 45-year-old men in Germany were investigated as an accompanying project of the PROBASE study. For the respondents, there was a tendency of a positive body image. They showed a modern understanding of masculinity and a good sexual self-esteem. 16,2% of sexually active men had an erectile dysfunction (ED). Men with ED had much stronger perceived social pressure compared to men without ED.
