Abstract:

Between 2007 and 2016, 76 patients who underwent resection for IPMN were reviewed. Based on the 2012 ICG, HRS and WF were analyzed statistically. Of the 76 patients, 13,2% were diagnosed with invasive carcinoma. Of the 53 patients without any HRS 11.3% showed high grade dysplasia and 9.4% invasive cancer. Univariate analysis identified abrupt change in MPD diameter, MPD diameter >5mm as well as number of WF present. MPD diameter >5mm showed statistical significance in multivariate analysis thus being the most accurate predictor.
