As a result of medical progress, 90% of children with congenital heart defects (AHF) reach the adult age. Many adults with AHF (EMAH) need careful follow-up care and the establishment of preventive and rehabilitative treatment concepts due to prognostic residual / subsequent conditions. In contrast to acquired heart diseases, there are hardly any data available for the rehabilitation of EMAH. Therefore, the rehabilitation process of 205 EMAH was analyzed in this study and a concept for the practical implementation of rehabilitation measures at EMAH was developed on the basis of the study data.
