Alzheimer´s dementia (AD) is the most common form of dementia and oligomeric Amyloid beta (Aβ) and isoflurane are assumed to play an important role in the pathogenesis of AD. The aim of this thesis is to investigate possible effects of various, intracerebroventricular injected Aβ subforms and isoflurane on amyloidopathy, neuroinflammation, apoptosis and expression of glutamatergic receptors. In a murine AD model possible effects are analyzed by fluorescence microscopy and molecular biological assay.
