The growth behavior of neuroendocrine tumors is usually slow and their diagnosis often leads to an advanced stage of disease when metastasis has already occurred. Due to the increased expression of somatostatin receptors on the cell surface, there is the possibility of treating neuroendocrine tumors by a targeted radionuclide therapy. In our work, individualized three-dimensional tumor dosimetry was used to investigate various parameters obtained from pretherapeutic diagnostics as well as under ongoing therapy to get a possible prediction of the therapeutic response. In addition to confirming the therapeutic response of PRRT at NET, the doses achieved in the various therapy cycles in relation to one another as well as in relation to the total dose and the uptake of molecular markers in the pretherapeutic PET showed the potential to predict a therapy response.
