- Abstract:
- Diese Dissertation evaluiert die Transcather Mitral Valve Implantation (TMVI), die eine minimalinvasive, interventionelle Alternative zum Mitralklappenersatz darstellt. Zu diesem Zweck werden 77 Patient:innen, die in einem Zeitraum von zehn Jahren mittels TMVI behandelt wurden, retrospektiv untersucht. Neben der Indikationsstellung und der technischen Durchführung der Intervention werden die klinischen Ergebnisse nach wissenschaftlichen Kriterien präsentiert und anschließend diskutiert.

- This dissertation evaluates Transcatheter Mitral Valve Implantation (TMVI) representing a minimally invasive, interventional alternative to mitral valve replacement. For this purpose, 77 patients, who were treated with TMVI over a period of ten years, are retrospectively analysed. In addition to indication and technical implementation of the intervention, the clinical results are presented and subsequently discussed according to scientific criteria.
