Modern principles of collaborative engineering are based on structured information along the development chain. Development projects are characterized by an in-creasing degree of interdisciplinarity and can greatly benefit from well-defined pro-duction requirements. This thesis presents an approach for the extension of estab-lished methods of requirements management to the domain of production. In addi-tion to the informationstructure, methods for data acquisition and process man-agement are given. The complete concept is applied and evaluated within an ex-tensive industrial case study.
