The mixture of tree species enables interactions between the species. This may lead to differences in the performance of these mixed stands from those of pure stands. Die Arbeit untersuchte Douglasie und Rotbuche in Rein- und Mischbeständen. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass die Kombination beider Arten zu einer Produktionssteigerung führt.
