In this dissertation, an innovative approach will be developed in the form of a wearable system for Parkinson's patients, so that the gait disorders such as motor blocks, namely Freezing of Gait (FOG) and shortened stride length of the patient can be alleviated by this non-drug therapy. The prototypic realizations of the concept are medically evaluated by experiments. The portable system could be able to offer Parkinson's patients a new choice not only for rehabilitation treatment, but also as a tool in their daily lives.
