Abstract:

Translated abstract:
This Phd. thesis addresses the implementation of electromagnetic localization methods on automotive platforms in real time. The used methods are based on joint distance and angular estimation for solving the association problem in the urban environment. The experimental verification shows, that the conventional parameter estimation by Maurice Bartlett is suitable to solve this problem efficiently in a practical application. Furthermore, it was shown that in typical application scenarios, these localization methods can be implemented in real-time on currently available automotive hardware platforms.
