Abstract:
Nuclear spins of ionized donors in silicon have received considerable attention in the context of quantum computing because of their extraordinarily long coherence times. In this thesis, we study the properties of these quantum systems using electrically detected electron nuclear double resonance. We in particular focus on the heavier dopants arsenic and antimony and the peculiarities that come with a larger nuclear spin, such as the quadrupolar interaction with the crystal field in strained silicon and the generation of multi-quantum coherences.
