Abstract:

Translated abstract:
The first part deals with the synthesis of nickel catalysts by means of the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) applied in CO2 methanation. The best synthesis parameters were identified by using response surface methodology. An increase in activity could be achieved by doping these catalyst by dry impregnation or a bimetallic CVD. The second part deals with the investigation of the heat transport phenomena in a fixed bed during CO2 methanation by means of thermography. The focus was on the investigation of the dependency of heat evolution on process parameters and configuration of fixed-beds.
