- Abstract:
- Um Zusammenhänge zwischen der Kariesaktivität und dem Speichel- und Pellikelmetabolom zu analysieren, wurden UHPLC-TOF-MS- und SIVA-UHPLC-MS/MS-Methoden entwickelt, validiert und in Humanstudien angewandt. Erstmals wurde dabei die Metabolitzusammensetzung der Pellikel von Kindern detailliert erforscht. Des Weiteren wurde der Einfluss des Probenahmezeitpunktes auf die Zusammensetzung des Speichelmetaboloms untersucht, wobei deutliche Unterschiede im Metabolitspektrum gezeigt werden konnten.
- Translated abstract:
- UHPLC-TOF-MS and SIVA-UHPLC-MS/MS methods have been developed and validated to analyze correlations between caries activity and the saliva and pellicle metabolome in humans. This was the first time that the metabolite composition of children's pellicle was investigated in detail. Furthermore, the influence of sampling time on the composition of the salivary metabolome was analyzed, showing clear differences in the metabolite spectrum.
