Two analyses with the IceCube Neutrino Telescope are presented. A search for cosmic-ray induced neutrino emission in the Galactic plane is performed. The sensitivity of this analysis for the KRA
γ model is about a factor two better than the one of the latest published IceCube analysis. Furthermore, a search for muon neutrinos from the direction of the extra-galactic object 1ES 1959+650 is presented. The source was very active in gamma rays in spring 2016. No evidence for neutrino emission is found.
