Kurzfassung:
This dissertation identified c-REL as a substrate of the ubiquitin proteasome system (UPS) in B-cell lymphomas. The deubiquitinase (DUB) OTUD4 was identified as c-REL interacting protein regulating its ubiquitination, stability, and nuclear accumulation in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cell lines. Moreover, OTUD4 depletion impaired the expansion of DLBCL and PDAC cell lines, hence OTUD4 was presented as a possible new target in cancer therapy.
