The motoric development of 200 school children aged 12 to 14 years was examined in a cross-sectional prospective study. Aim of the study was the collection of data with regard to neuromuscular functions plus form and motion of the spine. The results of the motoric tests were correlated with somatic data, gender, media consumption and sports. Test items consisted of standardized analysis systems (Biodex Stability System, foot tappings, Zebris CMS-System IPN Back Check), the Munich Fitness Test and a standardized questionnary. We found correlations between somatic data, gender, media consumption, sports and the test results. The test items proved suitable and the results should be broadened ba a long-sectional study.
