We performed a retrospective statistical evaluation of the success rate of a surgical correcture of penile curvature by use of a patient questionnaire, specifically considering the patients subjective satisfaction with the postoperative results. Neither the choice of surgical technique nor the observation period have some significant influence to the postoperative success rate. On the other hand with objectively comparable postoperative results considering the subjective postoperative satisfaction, the patients who suffer from congenital curvature benefit more from a surgical correcture than those with Peyronies disease.
