This research advocates Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) using enhanced site and infiltration assessment methods. Site feasibility was evaluated by using innovative site characterization, which optimized infiltration rate estimation, contributing to reduced MAR planning uncertainty and cost. Further, a novel infiltration approach was developed and evaluated to reduce land use conflicts, offering additional revenue. This study offers novel tools and solutions for MAR uptake, tackling water scarcity.
