The research work deals with expected climate-induced effects on different types of precast insulated sandwich panels. The base of the research is formed by a full-scale and long-term test setup under natural conditions. With the help of the induced climate and reaction variables to be observed in this experiment, numerical simulations and investigations under laboratory conditions can be calibrated and verified. The findings lead into a new proposal for cross-section dependent climate-induced load assumptions of precast insulated sandwich panels.
