This dissertation focuses on relevant challenges to digital health interventions for preventing mental disorders: limited evidence on the cost-effectiveness, a need for validated measurements in implementation science, and limited evidence on their implementation in routine care. In light of the results of this dissertation, digital health interventions show great potential in improving mental healthcare. Stronger links between (cost-)effectiveness and implementation research are critical to fully realize their potential public health impact.
