Control of Second-Harmonic Generation in Dielectric Polaritonic Metasurfaces Using $ḩi$(2) Polarity Switching

Abstract:
We demonstrate microscopic control of optical nonlinearities in an intersubband polaritonic all-dielectric metasurface comprising of Mie resonators embedded with semiconductor heterostructures. Through heterostructure design, we control the polarity of the resonant $ḩi$(2) leading to suppression or enhancement of second-harmonic generation.
