Ziel dieser Dissertation war es, die Forschung zu SIS im Bereich der Sportinformatik wieder aufzunehmen und einen interdisziplinären und angewandten Ansatz zu entwickeln. Bestehende Begriffe, Modelle und Methoden der Trainingswissenschaft und der Informatik wurden identifiziert und für die Umsetzung von SIS angepasst. Daraus resultiert ein neues, komplexes Strukturmodell der Gegenstandsbereiche der Trainingswissenschaft. Vier Einzelveröffentlichungen liefern ein Architekturkonzept für SIS, zwei Anwendungsfälle und ein Review bestehender kommerzieller SIS.     «

The goal of this dissertation was to resume research in the area of sports informatics and to develop an interdisciplinary and applied approach for SIS. Existing terms, models and methods of training science and computer science were identified and adapted for the implementation of SIS. This resulted in a new and elaborate complex structural model of the subject area of training science. Four individual publications provided an architectural concept for SIS, two use cases, and a review of existing commercial SIS.     «
