Abstract:
Weave and wobble are well-known eigenmodes of motorcycles. Depending on the motorcycle parameters, these modes may become unstable, thus impairing safety and maneuverability. Steering dampers are fitted in modern motorcycles to improve the wobble stability and prevent the kick-back phenomenon.
