Abstract:
We present a consistent and efficient approach to the formulation of geometric nonlinear finite elements for isogeometric analysis (IGA) and isogeometric B-Rep analysis (IBRA) based on the adjoint method. IGA elements are computationally expensive, especially for high polynomial degrees.
