Abstract:
We present an experimental and a theoretical study on the midinfrared electroluminescence associated with transitions between electric-field-induced conduction states, forming Wannier-Stark (WS) ladders, in a strongly coupled GaAs∕AlAs superlattice inserted in a heterostructure bipolar transistorlike device.
