Abstract:
We are developing a Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Machine (PMSM) for being used inside a cryostat. This environment is characterized by ultra high vacuum (UHV) and operating temperatures down to 80 K. In order to optimize our current design, we have been performing a design study about the key parameters of the machine.
