Cooperative ITS (C-ITS) is the connection of vehicles and infrastructure through wireless communication with the goal to improve road traffic. In the present thesis, a method for the description of an overall C-ITS architecture is developed and applied. In this context, a theoretical framework is developed that reflects the requirements of connected systems through modular structures and the necessary advancements of the architecture. A practical reference architecture is deduced, which in turn is the basis for the implemented system architecture of the C-ITS Corridor.     «

Kooperative Systeme (C-ITS) bezeichnen die Vernetzung von Fahrzeugen und Infrastruktur zur Verbesserung des Straßenverkehrs. In der vorliegenden Dissertation wird ein methodisches Vorgehen zur Beschreibung einer Gesamtarchitektur Kooperativer Systeme entwickelt und angewendet. In diesem Zusammenhang wird ein theoretischer Rahmen entwickelt, der die Anforderungen vernetzter Systeme mittels modularer Strukturen und den dementsprechend notwendigen Weiterentwicklungen der Architektur reflektiert. Daraus abgeleitet wird eine praxisnahe Referenzarchitektur, welche wiederum die Grundlage der implementierten Systemarchitektur des C-ITS Corridor bildet.     «
