Method and Device for Holding and Machining a Workpiece

(EN) The invention relates to a method and to a device for holding and machining workpieces (1). A first adapter piece (31) is replaced with a second adapter piece (31') by means of a handling device (11). In a second step, the geometry of the second adapter piece (31') is adapted to the geometry of a workpiece which is to be machined by a shaping device (5,7). Then, a workpiece is placed in such a manner that after placing, it is in surface contact with at least two adapter pieces (31'). Subsequently, the workpiece is machined by the shaping device (5, 7) and then the machined workpiece is replaced with a non-machined workpiece. Es wird ein erstes Adapterstück (31) durch ein zweites Adapterstück (31') mittels einer Handhabungseinrichtung (11) ausgetauscht. In einem zweiten Verfahrensschritt erfolgt das Anpassen der Geometrie des zweiten Adapterstückes (31') an die Geometrie eines zu bearbeitenden Werkstückes durch eine Formgebungsvorrichtung (5, 7). Hierauf wird ein Werkstück derart platziert, dass es nach der Platzierung in Oberflächenkontakt mit mindestens zwei Adapterstücken (31') steht.
