The aim of this validation study is to investigate whether the new ear sensor technology of the cosinuss system measures the heart rate just as exactly as a chest belt and the body's core temperature as accurately as nasal, bladder or pulmonary artery sensors. For this purpose, approximately 12,000 data pairs from 44 subjects were evaluated and compared. The measurements for data collection were carried out in the laboratory of the Chair of Preventive Pediatrics at the Technical University in Munich and at the German Heart Center in Munich.
