The thesis is structured as follows: first, in chapter 2, for the simplified estimation models, the existing equations, created either theoretically or empirically, are presented. The tests measuring the frequencies of variously shaped structures vibrating in air and in vacuum chambers are shown and the results compared with those achieved with the named methods. In chapter 3, numerical methods are presented, approaching the problem of added mass with either the Boundary Elements Method or the Finite Elements Method. Again, test results are presented and compared. In the fourth chapter, we see different views on the aerodynamic damping.
