This thesis presents a bionic design of a future vehicular system architecture according to the model of the human body. The central idea is to reduce complexity and to meet for future requirements, especially in connection with the digitization (Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems), at the same time. To ensure this goal, the human body was analyzed and a catalog of bionic design rules for future architectures was created. Finally, the concept was evaluated based on example vehicle functions.
